Heat Sealing
Sealing without plastic
Our heat sealings are bio-based coating systems for paper and fiber applications. They enable reliable heat sealing and offer a sustainable alternative to conventional, fossil-based sealing layers.
Depending on the application, different requirements are the focus:

Improving Transparency
For better visibility
Our coating systems enable targeted Increased translucency in paper and fiber applications, while maintaining the material's characteristic feel and sustainability. Depending on the substrate and application, transparency increases of up to 30% can be achieved.
Reducing light scattering within the fiber structure results in a more uniform, higher-quality appearance. This enables, for example, the creation of viewing windows or translucent packaging solutions – without the use of fossil-based plastics.
Our systems are involved compatible with existing processing methods and can be individually adapted to substrate, application and drying.
Abrasion Reduction and Release

Our coating systems for abrasion reduction and improved release properties are high-performance, bio-based solutions for paper and fiber applications.
Why is that useful?
To protect sensitive areas To reliably protect surfaces while simultaneously enabling controlled separation of materials in industrial processes .
Our systems effectively reduce abrasion and surface damage, thus contributing to the protection of high-quality products – confirmed by tests according to EN ISO 1518. At the same time, they enable excellent release properties, for example in applications with adhesives or in paper-based systems such as coffee capsules.
Depending on the application, additional barriers against oil, grease, water and water vapor are available.
